A COVID-19 Free B-day
It is what it is.
The sun is out, the air is crisp. It looks to be a really beautiful day. What can you do when you live in a bubble with masks and a shield?
Go for an isolated 2+m away from next human walk in the park that is closed off with yellow tape and signage, break the rules and it's a $750 stroll in the park, and then shop at the Cheese Boutique and enjoy the day.
I did manage to change the tires on her car, will get to changing the oil too. Working on her laundry room reno. Trying to keep busy during this time.
There's lots of these virus spreading movies on all streaming services. And it's 24/7 news on every channel. Then there's Trump. He's in a league of his own.
I mean that's all there is now. But remember it's temporary. It will get better. It has to.
No gatherings.
It's a cough in your elbow, wash hands and keep 2+m apart kind of world now.And that's the good part.
The hard part is happening in the hospitals, where the severe COVID-19 cases are being fought. Survival mode. A part of this Pandemic that very few people are seeing.
Our friend's Song and Jinn came by the other day, with gifts of hot food. It was nice to see them. And grateful for the gesture.
Don't worry disinfectant wipes and heat kills any virus.
Ingredients for a cake are in the kitchen.
May end up turning into cupcakes to build into a cake with candles.
Wishing for this time in the world to pass.
Happy Birthday Tresa.
Thanks for all you do at the hospital.
And to all the other front line workers putting their lives on the line, to save others. Thank you.
