Happy Covid-19 Mother's day

Happy mother's day to all those mothers during this Pandemic 2020 time.
It's like a stuck record.  Everything is COVID-19 this, outbreak that, conspiracy crap and COVIDIOTS.

You can't get away from it.
It's really incredible how some people will use platforms that shall not be named to spread lies.  Preying on those who are easily influenced.  I'm not sure why they would choose to do this.  Except they are not nice.

Today is mother's day.
And i wasn't sure what to do since we are still locked down.  And the weather outside is crappy anyways.  Like yesterday it SNOWED.  May 9 - 2020.  I saw it.  I was going to go for a ride.  But it was freezing like it was November.  And it's Spring.  This year continues to be lousy.

But one positive is that our laundry / 2nd bath reno is progressing. Kudos to me.  Cuz i'm doing the work.  So yesterday we spent the day cleaning out the laundry room to prep for the new drains being installed for the shower and relocating the toilet.   It looked really good with all that stuff gone.  It feels so much bigger.   Just don't go into the other part of the basement, cuz that's where we put all that crap.  Just moves from room to room.

For Sunday, today.  I can't even remember what I did in the morning.  But i did make a card.

And then gave it to Kieran to finish it off and make it nice and add his touch.
I don't even know who that's supposed to be.  Can't be me.  Looks more like David Suzuki.

Late afternoon, I was getting things prepped for digging up the drain. I was going to work on it next weekend but now we're going up north to check on the cottage.

But as I got the shovels and put up the plastic and boards to keep the dirt contained.  I figured I might as well do this part now and take my time on assembling the new drain when it was nicer weather out to cut the pipes.

I did this work 3 yrs ago when I replaced the clay trap with this ABS one.
Now I'm replacing it and adding a bit more.  It'll be worth it when it's all done.
It's all for mama.  This is what she wanted.  This is work that was needed to be done.

It's like I'm in between 2 tectonic plates.
