Happy Chinese New Year, PIGS!

That's right it's the year of the BBQ pork..

Basically everyone in APAC is on vacation, for a month.
Try to avoid buying anything made in China at this time of year, if you do. Get the extended warranty.

We got together with Willy, Edwin, Jean, Leo, Carmen and Peter and all the kiddies at the Happy Jade Seafood Garden or something.
It's near Dundas and Dixie. For those folks that get hungry after reading this post.

We were late as usual, but there's a standard Chinese new year menu, so that expedited the food to the table which made it really convenient for us, because we'd spend about 30 minutes trying to find some non-seafood or canadianized chinese food for Tresa.

All in all the food was good. Fish was very good. Didn't taste fishy and wasn't too bony.
There was also lobster, breaded scallops, bbq pork of course and chicken for the turf-lady, which by the way was done really well. They sprinkle on diced garlic, which looked like nuts.

But the only nuts were these guys.

Service was to be expected. We ordered a bowl of rice for Kieran cause the fried rice, although very good, had egg in it. Then the waiter was nowhere to be seen. So we figured he went to the rice fields to get the rice.
The washrooms are about par for Chinese restaurants. But at least they didn't stink.
And the place was full of asians, with their nintendos.
Some white people made it in through the door, but I think they were there by mistake or they had no choice.
