Pull my butterfinger

That's what I found on the coffee table, wrappers of Butterfinger chocolate bars (but only the mini ones), along with popsicles, well popsicle sticks. The popsicles were eaten. We're still a few weeks away from her first ultrasound on Oct 5th. And even that date is just shy of the end of her first trimester.

You see we're a little confused about the date of conception. We had done a procedure back on July 26/27 and she had her pregnancy test on Aug 18th, we think. Then the ultra sound on the 24th, we think. We can't remember now. I should have written it down. But I could always go ask the fertility specialist. At the time of the ultrasound she was supposedly 6 weeks. But it was only 4 weeks since the procedure. But 6 weeks from her last cycle.

So Oct 5th is either 10 or 12 weeks depending on which date you start from. So thanksgiving will be the tail end of her first trimester.

And now we can't find the Materna. We got back from NJ and Tresa can't figure out where her vitamins are. Must be the pregnancy. Nah, this is normal. But I'm afraid it'll get worse. I'm sure it will. God help me. I guess I'll go to Wal-Mart and get more Materna. But she's in no rush to get it cuz the iron made her sick to her stomach. I dunno what's she's talking about, the last time we had bought Materna, I had ended up taking it. I'm anemic so I get low in iron. So I had no problems with plugging up the plumbing. It's basically a multi-vitamin. I didn't grow hair in odd places nor did my boob grow larger. She's taking folic acid and a multi-vitamin separately.

What I found out was that the folic acid is supposed to reduce the chances of birth defects. Finding all this stuff out really makes having a baby really complicated and a little scary. But we're happy none the less. Concerned, but happy.

My cousin-in-law Chris, mentioned to us about Doula. Mid-wives. I'm going to have to look into it. What else. I have to get the vents cleaned up and ready. I have to get the sofa design and the fabric to the manufacturer. What else? Oh ya. I have to finish cleaning up the garage. Seal the chinese warrior statue (Tresa was supposed to do this, but like everything else she has to make a decision on and get done, she won't do it until it's brown like me and then ask me to ask Mel how to get back to it's original colour - white). Anything else?

Ya. Pray for help.
