Smiles are free

At McDonald's, but not from this kid. It was close. But not quite there. Maybe next year. Give him a Thomas train and he's a happy camper.

It's Kieran's 3rd and last year in Casa. We're having a tough time deciding when he should transition to the regular school system. One factor is that the catholic school we want him to go to is capping it's enrollment. And we are just out of the boundaries of the school.
If we want to move him, he'll have to move before the end of this calendar year otherwise we will have to go on a waiting list. Which may not be so bad. Who knows? It's just not according to Tresa's master plan.

But we already know the regular school system is not at the same level as this Montessori school. I'm amazed at the difference. SK is half day. And the goal is to count to 10, maybe in French. In 3rd year Casa, Kieran is already writing cursive words and adding and subtracting with 4 digit numbers.

What to do...except smile for the camera and roll with the punches life hands you.
