7th Angry Bird birthday

It was Kieran's 7th birthday today.

And it was a Sunday.  Coincidentally, there was a school play.  So no party today.  The closest thing we could do was meet up with some family at the Mandarin, afterwards.  Although most of his cousins are teens, it's nice to get all together.  Especially since there are so many of them.

He wasn't too happy at first.  He just woke up from a power nap in the car ride from the school. He wasn't interested in going to buffet, he didn't know family was coming too, he wanted to go home and play with his Unicron and his friends next door.  After some negotiating, we got a deal to bring that smile back.

Knock-Knock! Who's There?

I didn't understand anything they said in the play.  But it was really good.  I enjoyed it.  I appreciated the work the kids and the school had done to put it together.  There was even dessert afterwards that was really something.
