Elementary Valentine
It was Valentine's Day, and we weren't sure what Kieran was supposed to exactly do for school that day. He told us something but we weren't exactly sure if they were doing that in class or it was something he could do for class. We asked him again and he was unsure too.
The more we asked the unclearer it got.
In any case, he wanted to bring something to share with 28 others in his class plus the teachers. That makes 30 squares.
It just had to be nut free.
So rice crispie squares it was.
Simple and kids love em.
Cuz it's full of sugar.
Yet they are pretty much hypo-allergenic.
And Kieran can eat them, without fear of using his Epi-pen.
And he brought his W-S bag full of his Valentine treats and his James Joyce book in both Croatian and English.
He's been to school early this week. Not by 1 min or 10mins. By 30 mins or more.
Lucky for me, because I had left behind my rings and chain at the gym on Friday and they were still there first thing Monday morning.
So I bought Kieran his favourite.
He's almost finished the box.
