One small step for
Kieran...one giant leap for Sukaboy.

At just over 11 months he's beginning to take his first steps at walking on his own. He's been able to stand on his own for about 15 seconds and he's getting better and better at it and finally took his first steps without help. We figure it's just a matter of a few weeks before he finally gives up cruising on all fours.
This is how Kieran got that bump right smack in the middle of his bridge. It wasn't make up for all those April Fools folks. He was over at his grandparents showing them how he can take a few tentative steps. And he showed them how his little feet could take him right into the side of the coffee table.

So he's following in his papa's footsteps. The swelling in my face came down months ago.
So he's got a couple of black eyes and the swelling has come down.

No vomiting or more than normal crying so that was also a sign that he didn't suffer a concussion. Now that I think about it I didn't have any vomiting or more than normal crying either when I hit that van. Like father like son and vice versa.
