Thomas the Tank Engine

We got the blues brothers together for a road trip to the Island of Sodor. Although we got lost a couple of times we got there in perfect timing to board Annie and Clarabelle and ride the rails with Thomas.

Hot day too. I think my lips got sizzled. I'm feeling it today.
There were other train rides there too, but Thomas is the main attraction. Lots of little kiddies going nuts for this tank engine.

You can see their faces are a little flushed from the heat. But that didn't deter them from enjoying the day.
After we got off the train to have some lunch it was 'my Thomas' over and over. And some new words 'two tickets'.

No signs off the main roads to provide some directions to this place. It was no wonder we had difficulty finding this place. This place was literally in the middle of nowhere. Well not really, it was in the middle of Amish farming country in Strasburg Pennsylvania.

I'm sure the Amish community luvs this attraction, right next to the Pennsylvania Railroad history museum. Bringing people with technology into their homes. We saw that they still farmed their land with horses and on a nice day like this they hung ALL of their laundry out to dry - from the house to the barn.

All in all, it was a beautiful day on the island of Sodor.

There's apparently a Thomas the tank engine attraction in St. Thomas, Ontario as well. We'll have to check it out some time.
