Bad Seagulls Beach

We got to the beach in mid afternoon to avoid the hotest time of the day. But the ocean was very rough, you could see the white tips of the waves. After heading to the beach we weren't allowed to go very far into the ocean.
We went as far as we could and that was enough for the kids to have fun. Although Grace doesn't seem to like the water very much.

Hey you know why you're not allowed to bring food to the beach?
Cuz the friggin seagulls swarm your bag and fly away with it even if they can't freakin open the bag or the plastic container. They took some cookies that I wanted to try.

When we came back from playing in the water we saw seagulls hanging around our stuff and we thought the wind was blowing garbage around. But it was our food! Where's the NRA when you 'em?
