Boo - hey it's warm out

Man the warm weather came just in time for the kiddies. It was a beautiful evening to go trick or treating.

I was anticipating sub-zero temperatures from what the weather had been for the past 2 weeks. We got snow last week and the ladies next door had their snow shovel out. But today it was a gift from mother nature to the kiddies.


Yahvi and Kieran couldn't wait for me to get ready to go out. It was like they'd already eaten something sugary.
Finally I was ready to trick or treat with them.
So we hit the trail following the doggie tail to candy land.


We went to the usual houses. Atul & Sonal's, Sam & Jessie's, Cathy's, Mina's down at the top of the street. Where we got most of our stash. And this house at the corner that's meant for halloween cause their front yard is like this all year round (ie. a disaster).


After doing a few streets Kieran and Yahvi's bags were overflowing. Kieran kept dropping candy along the way but he was careful to pick them up. Good thing he's so low to the ground.
So we headed home, cause Kieran said he was hungry. He napped before we went out, so I figured he was hungry. But he was hungry for his treats.
With Kieran's allergies, Tresa and I did the parently thing and ate all the candies with nuts. It was tough but we did it.


And this is what happens when he has a few treats. He strikes a pose.
Maybe I should give him a few treats before his auditions. Might land him a few more gigs.



Then we headed back over to Sam & Jessie's to work off some of that sugar. Plus I wanted to see what their dog had as a costume.
Unfortunately, he didn't like wearing it and so he didn't have it on, but we hung out there anyways.
